The Factory

The Factory is a basketball training facility focused on teaching players the proper fundamentals and skills needed to take their game to the next level. They offer individual training, small group sessions, and a membership-based Workout Club. The Workout Club is built for serious players in 3rd–8th grade, with no more than 20 athletes and at minimum a 7:1 coach-to-athlete ratio, covering ball handling, passing, shooting, and competitive drills every session. Their coaching staff is made up of Omaha-area former college players with years of skill development experience.

Going Vertical Basketball Academy

Near Chalco Hills, Omaha

Led by Professional Strategic Skills Coach Adam Barnes, Going Vertical offers one-on-one skill development, small group training, private shooting instruction, and even video breakdown and recruiting services for players from youth through the professional level. The coaching staff collectively brings over 30 years of professional playing experience and 40+ years of coaching experience, and has trained over 300 college and professional players.

Nebraska Basketball Academy

5121 N 132nd St, Omaha (132nd & Fort)

Nebraska Basketball Academy uses a structured “Level Up Curriculum” covering ball handling, defense, passing, shooting, and basketball IQ for boys and girls K–12. Every 15 weeks, athletes can test out and advance to the next level, making progress visible and measurable. Their training systems were developed in partnership with NBA players including Larry Hughes, Chris Paul, Bobby Jackson, and Monta Ellis. Coach Moe serves as an assistant freshman boys basketball coach at Bellevue West and has worked with over 25 athletes who went on to play college sports on scholarship, with more than 100 youth currently playing at the high school varsity level. He offers one-on-one and small group training for players of all ages and ability levels.

The JCC offers 60-minute private and semi-private basketball lessons for one to two players at similar skill levels, with workouts customized to target specific areas for improvement — shooting, ball handling, footwork, and more. A solid lower-key option, especially for younger or beginner players.
