What is included in the quote, and what is not? Most pole barn quotes assume site prep, concrete, electrical, and finishing are the homeowner’s problem. Make sure you know exactly where their scope ends and yours begins.

What is the concrete spec? If you might want a sports court inside the building, a workshop with heavy equipment, or anything beyond a basic storage slab, the concrete needs to be designed for that use. A standard pole barn slab will not hold up to a court surface.

What is the workmanship warranty, and what does it cover? Material warranties come from the manufacturer. The workmanship warranty is on the builder.

What is the timeline from contract to completion? Pole barn schedules in Nebraska are tight from spring through fall, and the best builders are often booked months out.
